The Golf Course at China Fleet
This Championship Course at China Fleet Golf Club in Saltash boasts stunning views over the river Tamar, with a challenging and enjoyable par 72, 18-hole course. Bordered by the River Tamar and the Kingsmill Creek, you cannot help but enjoy the tranquil setting at China Fleet. The course follows a classic design of ten par fours, four par fives and four par threes. A real winner with members and visitors alike, China Fleet offers something for golfers of all levels.
China Fleet golf club benefits from a modern 28 bay floodlit driving range allowing you to get some practice in before your round. The range is open from 7.30am-8.30pm Monday – Saturday and 7.30am-7pm on Sundays.
The China Fleet Clubhouse
If you choose to dine at China Fleet you really are spoilt for choice. The Brasserie and coffee bar are open all day offering menus to suit all occasions and tastes including a full children’s selection, homemade patisserie counter, fair trade coffee and a wonderful selection of luxury local Ice Creams from Langage Farm.
The varied all day menu and specials boards include dishes such as goats cheese, Cornish sardines & mussels, beefburgers, baguettes, panini's, homemade pies, pastas and salads. The history of the club has led to a 'chef on the woks' every weekend, serving up an oriental selection.
There is also a carvery every Sunday in the Brasserie, served between 12.30-14.30 and booking is advised.
From Dartmouth Golf & Country Club, turn right onto the A3122 for 2-3 miles. Turn left onto the A381. Take the first right for approx 1 mile. Take the 3rd right and follow for 5-6 miles. Turn left at the end of the road and continue on the B3372 for 1.6 miles. Turn left onto the A38 Devon Expressway for 17-18 miles, crossing the Tamar Bridge. Veer left before the tunnel and at the lights turn right. Veer left for 0.3 miles. Turn right onto Old Ferry Rd and immediately left onto Glanville Terrace and continue for about 1-2 miles. China Fleet Country Club is at the end of the road.
