Churston Golf Club

Churston Golf Course

Churston Golf Club
The Par 70 parkland course meanders along a long strip of typical downland turf that stretches westward along the cliffs towards Brixham and overlooking Torbay. The ground is boldly undulating in character with no lack of natural features, and the surroundings are richly diverse.

The course measures 6208 yards, with a S.S.S. of 72. The hard running fairways give plenty of extra distance on your shots. The issue will be the accuracy and control of your second shot which is paramount if you wish to score well. Good scoring at Churston requires a great variety of shots.

The views of the surrounding area and out to sea are stunning and you will surely go home with found memories of both the course and its vista.

Practice Facilities
Churston golf club provides two practice putting greens, which are beautifully manicured and ideally situated next to the club house. There are also three driving nets adjacent to the eighteenth green and a chipping area set behind the first tee. There is also a practise chipping area and bunker near the fifth tee & just a short stroll away is the driving range.

The Churston golf clubhouse was rebuilt in 1998 and contains all the modern day facilities expected of a modern golf club. The club recognise the importance of the 19th hole and go that extra mile to assure you of a most memorable and pleasurable stay.

Turn left out of Dartmouth Golf & Country Club onto the A3122 and follow for 2-3 miles, through 1 roundabout. At the mini-roundabout continue onto the A379, into Dartmouth. At the bottom of College Way hill, stay in the right hand lane for the ferry. On the other side continue onto the A379 for 3-4 miles. Turn left onto the A3022 and Churston golf club is on the right hand side after about 100 yards.
