Thurlestone Golf Club
The course is a mix of links and cliff-top terrain with the latter providing fabulous views towards Bolt Tail in the East to beyond Plymouth to the West, with the Avon estuary and Burgh Island being the highlight for most people. Spectacular views may be enjoyed from every hole on the course, which provides a challenge to all levels of golfer. The great Peter Alliss favourably compared Thurlestone on television with the famous Pebble Beach course in California.
All visitors are made most welcome to Thurlestone Club and we will
strive to give you an excellent golfing experience from the moment you
arrive. As well as the challenging golf course, the Clubhouse is second-to-none
with its large main bar as well as a smaller "spike" bar.
Superb meals are available from 10:00 to 19:00 hours daily in our separate
dining-room. All visitors are requested to produce a valid handicap
certificate but if this is unavailable then please contact the Secretary
or Head Professional for further advice.
