Wrangaton Golf Club
Wrangaton Golf Club was founded in 1895 when a 9 hole golf course was established on land at the foot of the southern edge of Dartmoor. Just under 100 years later, in 1988 a further 50 acres of parkland was purchased and Donald Steele, the renowned designer of the world famous Loch Lomond golf course laid out an additional 9 holes. The result of all this is an incredibly unique course consisting of 9 moorland holes and 9 parkland holes. The course is par 70 and measures 6065 yards, offering a good challenge to golfers of all levels and abilities. Due to the elevation of the course there is good drainage and excellent playing conditions all year.
Wrangaton Golf Course is located only 5 minutes off the A38, just between
South Brent and Ivybridge. The course offers golfers total peace and
tranquillity, coupled with superb views across.
